Birthday Review

I never knew bursting blisters were so painful! Two of my blisters popped in the shower because the water was hitting my hand. And it hurt like _____! I think I didn't cry, but I couldn't tell because there was water all around.

Oh and I must make a public declaration that there were other shiny things in the middle of our table during the golf competition other than the flower vase. Okay, that sounded very incoherent. Basically, we won lots of stuff (at least more than last year) at the competition yesterday! And I still don't see why the champion school for the skills test division gets a bigger trophy than the top school (in our phase) throughout the year. Isn't consistency and a fat, biased coach more important? At least we have one more thing to display at our cca orientation booth!

Although it's kind of late, here a BIRTHDAY REVIEW!
My 14th birthday was kind of premature. All the celebrations were held before the actual day so the 18th of November was relatively dull. The only high point of that day was when my mom made my sister skip tuition so that we can 'celebrate' by going to chinatown (CHINATOWN?!) to eat my favourite desserts which I don't know what to call in english. Now I can tell everyone that I went to chinatown on my birthday. But I guess that shopping spree with berny and nico kind of makes up for it.
I won't thank all the people who wished me happy birthday one by one because it's such a haha-so-people-wished-me-happy-birthday-which-shows-that-i-am-popular thing to do. But thank you! I love my wonderful collection of pink sweaters/jackets which I have proudly arranged in a gradient. I can aspire to be the Imelda Marcos of pink sweaters/jackets!

I can't believe I haven't recovered from my camp tan yet! Because I tanned but didn't burn. But I still look burnt for a Sam! It's going to get worse when I go to Egypt because the sun there is super strong even though its cold. Which means that only my face will get darker and I'll probably end up with a funny tan from wearing sungalsses! AHHH. Like a spectacle tan isn't enough already. Looks like I'll be doing alot of hiding from the sun (and hiding from people!) after I come back from Egypt.

Note to self: Remember to buy extra strong sunblock!
