do you illuminate?
i'm finally updating!
ahhh ronald susilo just lost to that thai guy with the funny name )): there goes singapore's only medal hope! but the thai-guy-with-the-funny-name was quite good.. cept for all those lucky shots that hit the net but went over. poor susilo! when he was playing against the german guy yesterday, we were on the way to laguna so jean and jasmine were listening to the tv mobile radio station thing on linda's handphone. when he won the match all of us started cheering. the nanyang people were all wondering why we suddenly began whooping so loudly.
but really. whats more important is that IAN THORPE WON THE 400m and 200m FREESTYLE EVENTS!
yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
un-patriotic me. my mom was really amused that he has stubble now, and wondered if it causes more water resistance aloud.
nyah nyah, michael phelps! [whose neck is broader than his face and who, according to some people, looks retarded]
oh and nyah nyah to Hoogenband too! nico and i used to take great joy in using his full name for hangman. i dont think anyone has ever solved it before! Pieter van den Hoogenband!
i wish i could stay at home all day to watch the olympics.
then i wont have to go to school and waste my day away. ohhh but tomorrow theres dance! so i cant do that tomorrow. dance is really fun because our class is so pro! we did mambo in one lesson and everyone learned both the guys and girls part for jive in one lesson. when we were supposed to do mambo in two lessons and one part of jive in three lessons. ohhh dont we just love ourselves! X) we have so many free lessons so ms amy is supposed to teach us __________ (which we're not supposed to say). but she didnt come last week, so we got this other teacher who taught us jazz. and ms amy is gonna come tomorrow to teach us ________! why cant dance be some kind of subject? like art! school without aesthetics next year would be dead boring ):
at least we still have all those stupid things we do in school to look forward to. like today we uh.. raised our hands throughout recess, all the way back to class. cos sharon was talking about how she has to raise her "ABRASED" arm so that water doesnt get into the wound. and then we suddenly got inspired by those survivor challenges where they have to raise their hands for as long as possible. so nicole and i began raising our hands and soon everyone at the table was raising their hands. i wonder what the people who walked past our table were thinking! school would seriously suck without all that other crap that we come up with, including reminding pok that she looks pervy EVERY SINGLE DAY.
oh did i ever mention that the rock wall REALLY STINKS? and the helmet is even worse.
speaking of stinking, is it me or does my house smell like durians today?
and on the topic of houses, our new house is finally done! YAY. my dad's calling in a caterer on friday to celebrate its completion. so its not really house warming since we're not staying in it. but i think my aunty and parents' friends already went there for a swim this afternoon. hmph! i wanted to be the first to jump into the pool! oh heck. when we move in someday [maybe in ten years or something ><] I CHOPE THE ATTIC!
oh and we have french tenants. i should get french tuition from them! because i screwed up my french controle the other day. i need tuition EVERYTHING!
hey. the torch wasnt very illuminating today.
